青年人才培养是显示技术未来发展的奠基。各大高校和企业聚集了大量的青年科技人才，他们也被视为突破核心技术的主力军之一。培养青年人才不仅是为了满足当前的技术需求，更是为了确保未来的技术和创新能够持续发展。
中国SID显示未来之星委员会与韩国信息显示学会(Korean Information Display Society, 简称KIDS) 共同举办青年领袖论坛（Young Leader Conference，简称YLC论坛），论坛将在中国召开的2025国际显示技术大会（ICDT）上举办。由中方与韩方各自推荐青年科学家，参加论坛发表自己的研究成果，推动中韩青年科学家的交流。
今年的青年领袖论坛计划由2个session组成，3位韩方推荐的青年科学家与6位中方推荐的青年科学家做现场报告。
