The information display industry is one of the basic supporting industries of the electronic information industry. In the age of artificial intelligence and big data, information acquisition and information feedback are equally important. The display device is no longer a simple information display screen, but an information interaction terminal with interactive, high-fidelity, and immersive characteristics, and requires to be energy-saving, light and thin, flexible and rollable, super-sized, and interactive 3D moving images. The whole display industry, from the material,equipment, devices to manufacturing technology, is entering into a new revolution.

As the novel technology of 5G, artificial intelligent and driverless cars are gradually going mature, the display industry, as an important terminal of information interaction, will continue to lead the evolution and revolution of the electronic information industry. Display community need work more closely in developing new technology to face those new challenges. ICDT, as an international collaboration and exchange platform, can help to stimulate new innovation and promote healthy growth of the global display industry.   

ICDT is one of the most important international conferences sponsored by SID outside the US, the first ICDT was successfully held in Fuzhou in 2017 followed by ICDT 2018 in Guangzhou, ICDT2019 in Kunshan, ICDT 2020 in Wuhan, ICDT 2021 in Beijing，ICDT 2022 in Fuzhou, ICDT 2023 in Nanjing and ICDT 2024 in Hefei with higher level, larger scale, and stronger international influence.
