Juenggil(James) Lee

Dr. JUENGGIL(James) Lee’s over 30 years working experience after receiving Ph.D. degree from Tohoku university in Japan & M.S degree from Seoul National University in Korea (Major: Material Science), comes from global leading IT companies, such as Apple (Principal Technologist) in USA, LG Display (Research Fellow) in Korea, Samsung Electronics (Principal Engineer) in Korea and CDT (Director) holding fundamental IPs of Printing OLED material/device architecture/process, which was spun out in 1992 from the Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge in UK.         

     Dr. James is an expert in OLED display manufacturing technology & product development for TV, IT & Mobile application.

     Currently Dr. Lee, Deputy Chief Engineer at TCL Corporate Research & Guangdong Juhua Printed Display Technology Co. Ltd. (an affiliate of TCL Group) since June 2015, is responsible for developing printed OLED/QLED display technology for TV application and innovative flexible display technology/product development.

• 28 papers published and frequently invited speaker (26) at OLED International Conference including “SID 2012 Keynote Speech, June 4th ~ 8th, Boston USA”.

• More than 80 patents have been granted: QLED, OLED, LCD, FED and Semiconductor technology.

• SID Beijing Chapter Technical Committee Member since 2016

• Expert of Chinese Government “Thousand Talents Plan in China”(中国国家千人计划)
