Aimin SongProfessor Aimin Song obtained PhD degree in physics in 1995. After fellowships from the Royal Society and Alexander von Humboldt foundation at Glasgow University and Munich University, he became a Swedish Research Council Open Postdoc and then a Guest Lecturer at Lund University. He moved to the University of Manchester as a Lecturer in 2002 and was promoted to a full Professor of Nanoelectronics in 2006. He received a Royal Society Brian Mercer Feasibility Award in 2006 and was awarded a Distinguished Achievement Medal for “Researcher of the Year” of the University of Manchester in 2007. He has published over 200 journal papers and was listed as an Elsevier Higher Cited Researcher. He has contributed over 90 invited/plenary talks at international conferences and has over 40 patents or patent applications on novel electronic device concepts. |
