Jian-Wen Dong

Jian-Wen Dong is a professor in School of Physics at Sun Yat-sen University. He won the Youth Science Award of the Ministry of Education and the Top Ten China Optics Award, was supported by Cheung Kong Young Scholar Program and National Outstanding Youth Foundation. He has carried out basic and application research on (1) topological nanophotonics and PIC devices and (2) metasurface and light field imaging/display.

He has published > 130 academic papers, including 5 Nature series journals such as Nature Materials, 6 Physical Review Letters, 1 National Science Review and 6 Light / eLight. He has also published 7 review papers including 30-page long review in Laser & Photonics Reviews. Among the research works, there are 7 papers selected as ESI highly cited papers with 6 of them cited more than 100 times. He has been granted 7 invention patents, including one in the USA.
