Hongyue Gao

Professor Hongyue Gao focuses on “Optical Clone” - holographic 3D display, and her work, real-time dynamic holographic true three-dimensionaldisplay result was rated as one of the 11 highlight technologies by the Societyfor Information Display at 2012 because it broke through the technical bottleneck that the previous holographic imaging in materials imaging could not reachreal-time refresh. She built a research center on 3D display and Virtualreality at Departmentof Precision Mechanical Engineering, School of Mechatronic Engineering andAutomation, Shanghai University, Shanghai, China, which research fields are on real time holographic 3DTV, Spatial holographic 3D projection, Hologram Printing, holographic applicationin micro-nano manufacturing, holographic 3D VR.
