Shumeng Wang

Shumeng Wang is the associate professor in Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Hejoined the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of CAS (2021), achieved the ExcellentYouth Scholar Fund of Jilin Province (2023), and won the Polymer Young Scholar Award of Chinese Chemical Society (2021) and Zhu Daoben Organic Solid Youth Innovation Award of Chinese Chemical Society (2023). His research interests aremainly focused on organic/polymer printing display materials and devices. Hehas developed two types of polymer light-emitting materials with "twisted structure and non-conjugated structure", and three types of solution-processed devices of “exciplex host device, multilayer and low energy loss device, thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) sensitized device". Has not only achieved a breakthrough in the external quantum efficiency of TADF polymers, but also continuously created and maintained the international power-efficiency record for solution-processed white OLED devices. He has published 34 papers asfirst or corresponding author, applied for 26 patents and achieved 18 granted patents. As the project leader, he has achieved the support of 5 projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key Research and Development Program, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Jilin Province.
