ZhaokangFan

ZhaokangFan, PhD, received his Doctor of Science from Nanjing University in 2016,specializing in synthesis of host materials and OLED device design. Upongraduation, he joined BOE and currently works in Hefei BOE Joint TechnologyCo., Ltd. His research endeavors primarily concentrate on ink-jet printing OLEDtechnologies applied on large size displays including ink materials, devicestructure optimizing, and printing process development. He developed bothbottom emitting and top emitting OLED devices based on Ink-Jet printingprocess. And in 2022 he developed a novel hybrid tandem IJP device to conquerthe bottleneck of blue performance of ink-jet printing OLED devices for monitordisplays. In addition to his work on OLED devices, he had conducted research onInk-Jet printing inks and was in charge of the establishment of the inkdevelopment and evaluation platform at Hefei BOE Joint. Leveraging thisplatform, he participated in several government technology development projectsfocusing on IJP inks and displays advancement. Currently he is also exploringtop emitting OLEDs with micro-cavity based on vacuum evaporation process.
