OLED Materials and Devices

Abstract:

Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) is a new-generation display technology that has achieved tremendous development in recent years and been widely applied in numerous fields such as smartphones, televisions and wearable electronic devices. Amid the wave of industrial upgrading in the 5G era, the display industry is facing a new round of demand for technological iteration. The new-generation display standard (BT.2020) requires core luminescent materials to feature narrower emission spectra, higher brightness and longer service life, which undoubtedly sets higher requirements for the development of OLED technology. This course will introduce the basic principles, device structures and performance, as well as the evolution of material systems of OLEDs.
