Dr. Xuan Cao graduated from the University of Southern California (USC), with 15 years of dedicated research experience in Micro-LED technology. To date, he has published more than 20 papers in internationally renowned academic journals and filed over 80 patent applications.

Dr. Cao previously held senior technical positions at Visionox and Huawei Device, and currently serves as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Chengdu Vistar Optoelectronics, where he takes overall charge of R&D for Micro-LED display panel technology. His key achievements include:

Leading the construction of Chinese mainland's first full-process Micro-LED new display pilot line, which covers the complete workflow from LTPS driving backplane, mass transfer, defect repair to module assembly;

Effectively advancing the development of a self-controllable supply chain for China's Micro-LED industry, and co-developing multiple sets of critical equipment and process materials;

Presiding over the R&D of a full series of Micro-LED display products, including a retina-level (326 PPI) wearable Micro-LED display module, an 88-inch P0.5 front-maintenance TFT-based Micro-LED video wall, a 135-inch P0.7 TFT-based Micro-LED video wall, a P0.4 Micro-LED transparent display, and a 0.13-inch Micro-LED microdisplay, among others.
