Thanks to the joint efforts of China’s Micro LED industry, we have achieved a breakthrough from zero to one. Looking back at 2025, driven by the rapid progress in AI, AR, and autonomous driving technologies, investments in the Micro LED industry have been robust, production lines have been established swiftly, and initial steps toward industrial-scale production have been realized. In the three major fields of AR glasses, automotive applications, and projection, the industry has gradually transitioned from principle prototypes to standardized mass production. Meanwhile, during the process of transforming technology into products, Micro LED chips have undergone continuous iteration and improvement on the application side, revealing new development trends. As the transmission layer for Micro LED electrical signals and data, CMOS driver design has also been iteratively updated in response to the technological advancements in Micro LED production lines and the evolution of end-product form factors. |
