Dr. Qun Yan is a globally recognized authority and research scientist in the field of information display. He is a Foreign Academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, a nationally distinguished expert under China’s state-level talent program, and a Distinguished Professor at Fuzhou University. He serves as President-Elect of the Society for Information Display (SID), President of SID China, and is an SID Fellow. Previously, he held positions as Chief Scientist at Sichuan Changhong and Principal Scientist at the Panasonic Plasma Display Laboratory in the United States, where he achieved outstanding accomplishments ranging from original technology research and development, prototype development, pilot production, to large-scale manufacturing. He has authored over 200 publications and more than 50 conference presentations in his field, and holds over 60 authorized invention patents. Currently engaged in research on highly integrated semiconductor information displays based on Micro-LED and interactive rich media, he is widely recognized as a leading expert in this emerging field both domestically and internationally.
