Hisense, Senior Scientist of Display Technology

With over two decades of extensive experience in the display industry, Mr. Cao is among the earliest experts in mainland China to enter the field of liquid crystal display. He possesses profound research expertise and successful industrial application experience across multiple display technologies, including LCD TVs, backlight modules, multi-primary display and Micro-LED.

In 2013, he led the development of Hisense’s ULED image quality technology platform. Through continuous in-depth research on multi-zone backlight dynamic control technology, he significantly enhanced the visual performance of liquid crystal displays.

Since 2021, Mr. Cao has been responsible for the research and development of cutting-edge display technologies at Hisense. As the technical lead, he has spearheaded the advancement of RGB-Mini LED technology and achieved a major industry breakthrough in this area by 2025.
