Dongchuan Chen, PhD, Director of TV Development and Deputy General Manager of TV SBU at BOE Technology Group.

Dr. Chen has long been engaged in R&D of large and medium-sized high-end flagship LCD display products. He has led and participated in the development of a number of world-first high-end display products, including 55–110” 4K/8K/16K panels and large-size OGS/In-cell Touch solutions. His work has won multiple awards, including SID Best in Show and CES Display Products Innovation Gold Award.

He has published over 20 papers at SID and delivered 3 invited talks. He has filed or been granted more than 320 domestic and international patents, co-authored 2 monographs, and led the formulation of 2 industry standards. His has won 2021 First Prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award, 2022 SID Outstanding Young Display Professional of Chinese Mainland and 2024 SID Peter Brody Prize.
