Effect of Multi-primary displays on Perceptual ExperienceEffect of Multi-primary displays on Perceptual Experience Conventional display systems typically use three primary colors (RGB) to reproduce a variety of colors within a limited color gamut. However, multi-primary color displays employ more than three primary colors, enabling the generation of a wider range of colors and more accurate color reproduction. The development of wide color gamut and multi-primary color displays brings new opportunities for enhancing visual experiences, such as richer and more vivid images. At the same time, these technologies also pose challenges for visual perception, color management, and display calibration, which will be discussed in this presentation. |
