Wei Xu

WeiXu is currently a Research Scientist at TCL AI Lab. He obtained his B.Sc. andM.Sc. degrees from Sun Yat-sen University in 2011 and 2014, respectively, andhis Ph.D. degree from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in2020. After a period of postdoctoral training at HKUST, he joined TCL AI Lab asa Research Scientist in 2021. He was a Visiting Scholar at Peking University in2012 and a Guest Scientist at Technische Universität Ilmenau in 2015. He hasbeen actively involved in applied mathematics and mechanics research,specializing in artificial intelligence (AI), numerical methods, and complexsystem modeling. His current research interest focuses on combining AItechniques and multiscale simulations to solve key scientific problems in thediscovery of novel display materials.
