魏敏晨教授现任香港理工大学教授、港理大前海前沿技术创新中心院长、国家优秀青年基金获得者、香港工程院青年院士。他于2009年毕业于复旦大学，并于2011年8月及2015年12月在美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学建筑工程系获得理学硕士和哲学博士学位。魏教授的研究方向主要包括基础颜色科学、针对影像系统、元宇宙技术（显示器、相机、AR/VR/MR系统）的颜色管理、及照明系统。

目前，魏教授担任国际照明委员会副主席、颜色影像领域顶级期刊Color Research & Application主编。

Minchen Tommy Wei is a Professor at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He obtained his Bachelor degree from Fudan University in 2009, Master of Science and PhD degrees from The Pennsylvania State University in 2011 and 2015. His research mainly focus on color science and imaging science, developing various solutions for imaging systems (e.g., displays, cameras, VR/AR/MR, etc) and lighting systems. Currently, he is the Vice President of CIE and editor-in-chief of Color Research & Application.
