向超宇.png向超宇,中科院宁波材料所研究员。2009年本科毕业于复旦大学光学系。2014年获得美国佛罗里达大学材料科学博士。在新型发光器件,特别是有机半导体发光二极管和量子点发光二极管等方面有着10年的研发经验。在器件机理,发光效率,工作寿命等研究领域取得过显著的成果。相关进展以第一作者身份在Nature Communication,Light:Scince&Application, Advanced Functional Material, Small等国外著名杂志期刊上发表。已经授权专利超过30项,其中5项美国专利授权。先后供职于美国苹果(Apple Inc)公司和寰宇显示公司(Universal Display Corp)。从事新型发光器件(OLED和QLED)的开发和在显示产品上的应用研究,有丰富的工业和产品经验和项目团队管理经验。2016年加入TCL集团工业研究院,作为TCL量子点显示技术开发团队的核心成员,领导新一代量子点LED的研发以及量子点显示喷墨印刷技术开发。相关技术应用于世界首台5吋全彩AM-QLED和31吋全彩AM-HQLED的样机,形成了一系列具有自主知识产权的核心器件制备技术。2019年加入中科院宁波材料所,从事纳米光电材料、器件和工艺的研发。


Chaoyu Xiang, researcher of Ningbo Materials Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Graduated from Fudan University with an undergraduate degree in optics in 2009. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Florida in 2014. He has 10 years of research and development experience in new light-emitting devices, especially organic semiconductor light-emitting diodes and quantum dot light-emitting diodes.Significant results have been achieved in the research fields of device mechanism, luminous efficiency and working life. The developments were published as first authors in prestigious foreign journals such as Nature Communications, Light: Scince-Application, Advanced Functional Material, Small,etc. More than 30 patents have been granted, five of which are U.S. patents. He has worked for Apple Inc. and Universal Display Corp. Engaged in the development of new light-emitting devices (OLED and QLED) and applied researchin display products, has a wealth of industrial and product experience and project team management experience. Joined TCL Group Industrial Research Institute in 2016 as a core member of the TCL Quantum Dot Display Technology Development Team, leading the development of a new generation of quantum dot LEDs and quantum dot display inkjet printing technology. Related technology isused in the world's first 5-inch full-color AM-QLED and 31-inch full-color AM-HQLED prototype, forming a series of independent intellectual property rights of the core device preparation technology. In 2019, he joined Ningbo Materials Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and was engaged in the research and development of nano-photovoltaic materials, devices and processes.

The Development of Quantum dots Displays inIndustry

Quantum dots have the advantages of narrow luminescence peak, high luminescence efficiency and solution preparation, andare important technologies for the future display industry. Quantum dots are of outstanding application value in LCD, microLED and inkjet printing display technology. This presentation will focus on the current and future technological direction of quantum dots around their industrial applications.
